Ramen Yokocho

Calling all Naruto fans! Last weekend, we had the pleasure of visiting the iconic ramen spot, Ramen Yokocho, to try their exclusive Naruto Shippuden set menu.

This exciting collaboration brings together the beloved Japanese manga series and mouth-watering ramen dishes, making it a must-visit destination for both anime fans and food lovers.

It costs £28, and you can get either Char Siu or Vegan miso ramen, a themed beverage and a dessert plus an exclusive character pin. The special recipe Char Sui Miso Ramen was a delight, featuring a rich and savory broth filled with BBQ pork belly, beansprouts, nitamago egg, nori, spring onion, extra naruto (fish cake), and menma bamboo shoots.

Beyond the ramen, we also indulged in some of Ramen Yokocho’s other delectable offerings. The Bao was soft and fluffy, filled with tender and flavorful meat, making it an excellent starter. The Takoyaki, with its crispy exterior and gooey, savory filling, was a delightful nod to classic Japanese street food. And the Chicken Karaage—juicy, crispy, and perfectly seasoned—was a crowd-pleaser that added a satisfying crunch to our meal.

To complement our ramen, we enjoyed two themed beverages: Sakura Juice and Kakashi Soda. The Sakura Juice, with its sweet and floral notes, was a refreshing treat, while the Kakashi Soda, with its fizzy and zesty flavor, perfectly balanced the meal’s richness.

For dessert, we indulged in the classic Japanese sweet, dorayaki. The soft pancakes filled with sweet red bean paste were a perfect end to our meal.

As a special bonus, the set menu came with exclusive character pins. We were thrilled to receive pins of Sakura and Kakashi, adding a fun and memorable keepsake to our experience. Additionally, the beautifully designed coasters featuring the characters were a charming touch that added to the overall theme.
