The Longest Noodles (12 ft long) in London ft. Murger Han

AD🍜 Murger Han 🍜

Murger Han is a Chinese restaurant that serves authentic Xi’An cuisines where you can trace the origin of the food back to Qin Dynasty (221 BC – 206 BC). If you’re looking for the longest noodles (12 ft long) to try in London, this is the place to go!

✨ Here’s my review ✨

MAINS

1️⃣House Special Dry Beef,Tomato & Egg Sauce and Chilli Oil
💰 £14.80
🌟 9/10

Their Biang Biang noodles are totally second to none. The word “biang biang” comes from the sounds produced when the chef pulled the dough apart and bang it against the surface several times to make the bouncy noodles. I love the taste of hot oil dried chilly pepper which is being poured over the nicely-cooked noodles before it is served in a huge bowl.

Biang Biang Noodles

All the toppings (beef, tomato, egg) taste awesome, complement well to the noodles and does not overpower the main star of the show.

2️⃣ Flat Wide Glass Noodle with Mixed Vegs in Broth
💰 £13.80
🌟 6.9/10

This bowl of noodle soup is catered for a vegetarian. It’s served in a clay pot to keep it warm and their ingredients include flat wide glass noodle, mixed of vegetables, mushrooms and potatoes. It’s healthy but did not give me a wow factor.

SIDES

3️⃣ Deep-fried Spiced Diced Chicken
💰 £8.80
🌟 6.9/10

It’s delicious but some diced chickens are little bit too dry and hard to chew. It’s slightly over-cooked and less crispy and could have done better IMO.

4️⃣ Spicy Beef Murger with with pepper and cumin
💰 £7.00
🌟 8/10

This resembles a “hamburger” in the western world with the brioche buns being replaced by a pan-baked flatbread aka Murger. Their beef fillings are so full that the flatbread could barely hold on to them. The beef is well-marinated and packed with flavours and have a spicy kick. It’s delicious.

DRINKS

5️⃣ Mango Magherita
💰 £5.50
🌟 7/10

It’s a little bit sour. I certainly prefer the other drinks.

6️⃣ Orange Mint
💰 £5.50
🌟 8/10

I read online reviews and most of them recommended a glass of orange mint – soda drinks and yep, it meets my standard to pair it with the spicy food.
