Central London’s first Indian Gastropub ft. Three Falcons

AD šŸ¦… Three Falcons šŸ¦…

Three Falcons is a boutique hotel located just 7 minutes away from Edgware Station. I was invited to try their authentic Indian cuisines prepared by their gastropub.

āœØ Hereā€™s my review āœØ

STARTERS

1ļøāƒ£Achari Jumbo Prawns
šŸ’° Ā£16.00
šŸŒŸ 8.5/10

All their prawn dishes are full of flavour and extremely scrumptious. When I said ā€œking prawnsā€ here, these prawns really come in jumbo sizes. As for starter, you will be given three jumbo prawns dressed with watercress and chilli mango chutney sauce. Itā€™s mildly spice. The prawn is juicy and succulent.

2ļøāƒ£ Tandoori Welsh Lamb Chops
šŸ’° Ā£15.00
šŸŒŸ 7.5/10

Iā€™m not used to eating lamb because of its smell but they really cook this dish skilfully such that the meat does not lose its tenderness. Itā€™s so delicious – literally one of the best I had in town. These lamb chops are well-marinated which is served with mint, corn salad, caramelised onion and chilli marinade.

MAINS

3ļøāƒ£ Old Delhi Butter Chicken
šŸ’° Ā£16.50
šŸŒŸ 7.5/10

Pieces of chicken tikka cooked in a blend of cashew cream plum vine tomatoes. an aromatic and flavourful curry base. I love drenching my rice with several spoonful of curry sauce. Itā€™s really spicy šŸŒ¶ that I canā€™t really handle it without finish sipping my water. Itā€™s really scrumptious.

4ļøāƒ£ Goan Curry – Prawn
šŸ’° Ā£17.00
šŸŒŸ 7.5/10

The air hangs thick with the rich scent of coconut fragrance as I was served with prawn goan curry. Itā€™s kohkan style seafood curry cooked in aromatic coconut and kokum base.

Iā€™m flabbergasted when I taste this, itā€™s quite authentic. I personally prefer those dishes that preserve its own local taste rather than westernised to accommodate the mass. It tastes awesome!

DUM BIRYANI

5ļøāƒ£ Dum Biryani

Iā€™m strongly connected to biryani rice as we used to get lots of this during bulan ramadhan back in my home country. They made this so perfect with aged basmati rice, saffron and chicken cooked separately and then only layer them together.

Itā€™s spicy yet delicious and brings back all the memories! You have to try this!

INDIAN BREADS

6ļøāƒ£ Garlic Naan
šŸ’° Ā£4.50
šŸŒŸ 8.5/10

Their naan (brushed with melted garlic butter! is soft and buttery with crispy textures – they are easily pulled apart. Dip this into the curry sauce and enjoy!

Dessert
Gulab Jamun Cheesecake | Preserved Rose Petals

šŸ’° Ā£7.00
šŸŒŸ 7/10

Sticky Ginger and Jaggery Pudding | Cardamom Chantilly

šŸ’° Ā£7.00
šŸŒŸ 7/10
