Cheesecakes and Bubble tea in London ft. Golden Tea
AD š§ Golden Teaš§
Golden tea is specialised in making bubble tea using top notch tea leaves and freshest ingredient to serve the drinks of the utmost quality for you.
Itās all about bubble tea and cakes. They differentiated themselves from other other boba chain by offering wide range of scrumptious cheesecakes, cakes in cup and macaroons.
Golden tea has since amassed a huge fan base following up with opening of various branches in Shoreditch, Elephant and Castle, and Camden.
āØ Hereās my review āØ
1ļøā£ Oreo Monster – Camden branch only
š 8/10
If youāre looking to gear up for this spooky season, this drink will serve you well. Itās only available in the Camden store which comes in tow flavour – Matcha or Oreo.
I got their Oreo drink which comes with brown sugar tapioca. It is extremely adorable with and too cute to be eaten but they taste surprisingly good. Its a must-order if youāre huge fan of Oreo drinks and their bubble is chewy and bouncy.
2ļøā£ Matcha Creme Brulee
š° Ā£4.20
š 7.5/10
A cup of matcha drinks mixed with creme brulee. It does not look as pretty as other drinks but their taste is good. Iāve tried matcha drinks from a lot of stores and I think their matcha is good but it doesnāt offer a deep flavour with a delicately sweet taste and minimally bitter.
3ļøā£ Matcha Cheesecake
š 7/10
On my first bite, I donāt really fancy it too much but I was so wrong as it gets better as I continue to take one bite after another. Itās best for sharing as I do feel a bit sweet nearly towards the end of finishing the cake that I have to take a few sips of water to make my tongue feels more comfortable.
4ļøā£ Basque Burnt Cheesecakes
š 8.5/10
My favourite product of the day for what Iāve tried so far. You will get a mini basque burnt cheesecake which is so creamy and rich. They donāt melt on the centre but the burnt top added different layer of texture for you to enjoy. Itās easier to learn how bake this at home but certainly hard to master.
Conclusion

šÆWorth revisit: YASSS š not heard of their name before but their boba tea is definitely on par to compete with other famous boba chain in London!
