Gordon Ramsayās London House offers modern European dishes and a cocktail bar which is best for you to bring your family and friends to enjoy your meal in the relaxed dining setting.
London House is only located 15 minutes away walk from Clapham junction and a short distance from Battersea Park. Love their service as youāll be served with complimentary still or sparkling water as soon as youāre seated.
āØHereās my reviewāØ
1ļøā£ Beef Wellington
š° Ā£49.50 pp (min. 2)
š 8.5/10
Beef Wellington is a fillet steak wrapped within a baker puff pastry that originated in England. This dish comes with creamy mash & red wine jus. You have to order a minimum portion of 2 which costs Ā£99.00 and wait for c.45 min for the dish to be served.
The beef is cooked to perfection – itās so tender and wrapped within a layer of mushroom paste. It goes perfectly with the red wine jus. The puff pastry is buttery & flaky. Itās absolutely mouthwatering and yes, Iām impressed!
2ļøā£ Confit duck leg
š° Ā£25.00
š 7/10
Confit duck leg sat on top of a bed of cassoulet, cavolo nero, mustard and creme fraiche. Cassoulet is a slow-cooked casserole that originated in France.
The wafer-thin duck skin is crispy and the duck meat is nicely cooked. Their sauce is sour and seems to be tomato-based. I weirdly love the fatty portion under the duck skin too.
3ļøā£ Hot chocolate fondant tart
š° Ā£9.50
š 8/10
Thereās always a room for sweet dessert by the end of a savoury meal, isnāt it?! We ordered hot chocolate fondant tart which is served with salted caramel ice cream. I can firmly certify that the fondant did overflow once you cut it in half. Itās warmly served and pairing it with the ice cream simply makes it a perfect match!
One of the best desserts Iāve ever tried, aināt too sweet and love the sea salt š§ that does the tricks to offset the sweetness to bring balance with the smooth, melting texture of the chocolate sauce.
Sea salt also offsets the bitterness of dark chocolate to really bring out the depth of flavour.
Conclusion
