If you’re looking to have some hearty Turkish food in central London at a reasonable price, then look no further than OTE! OTE introduces “Esnaf Lokantasi” i.e Turkish cafeteria-style restaurant that offers a wide range of dishes sold at a moderate price, specifically caters to tradesmen and workers.

In a four-compartment tray, you can customise your meal by choosing a (i) base from pilav rice, bulgur rice and humus. Then, pick a (ii)main: such as musaka, (iii)meze dip and (Iv)meze salad. The whole combination of meals are affordable and tasty. If you’re having a decision dilemma to mix and match the sides, feel free to check out their esnaf boxes. Their staff is really friendly!

OTE is now open for dine-in Monday – Saturday 12:00 pm -9pm!

Kusbasi & Kasar cheese pide – £8.90 (7.5/10)

Turkish Pide is a flatbread that comes in boat shape filled with diced lamb leg, paprika, green pepper, tomato, spices, kasar cheese. It is commonly referred as Turkish pizza. I would highly recommend you to try one of their pides. It’s natural, crusty and straight from the oven and so delicious! It’s time to try something different with a refreshing twist from the traditional Italian Pizza !

Pilav Rice + Musakka, humus and antalya piyazi 7/10 (£7.50)

Guys, I highly recommended you to try OTE’s mussaka. It’s roasted aubergine and corvette with bechamel sauce in cheese. It pairs so well with pilav rice that is fragrant and perfectly cooked. The sides and salad dip are just fine.

Bulgur rice, Tas Kebabi, Babagannush, taze fuasulye (6.8/10) £7.90

I love the Turkish beef stew cooked in tomato sauce but I certainly prefer their musakka more (their most popular options!) I have to admit that I have a small appetite and I can’t finish the whole meal in the end. The staff kindly gave me a dropbox for me to pack my food and re-enjoy it back at home.

Worth revisit : YES! Diversify your meal and immerse yourself in this lovely Turkish dining experience at their hearty blue store. Huge portion at an affordable price, what are you waiting for?! It’s a delightful Turkish meal experience for me.
