How does Shakeshack perform compared to other fast food chains?

Review Shakeshack

Shakeshack first landed in Covent Garden, London in 2013 and has since opened up a few branches due to its popularity! I’ve already popped by Shakeshack several times but I haven’t had a chance to take serious food photography for its burgers and share my food reviews. I last had this a week ago at its Stratford branches and I was a bit disappointed by its food presentation etc. Check out my full reviews below.

Here’s my review:

Shroom burger (8/10): £5.95

If you wanna get some tasty meat-free burger from a fast food chain, a shroom burger is definitely my go-to!! The mushroom is juicy and well-coated with cheese. Have a bite and their cheese pull is insane!! The Crisp-fried portobello mushroom is filled with melted cheese, topped with lettuce, tomato, ShackSauce. Their yellow buns are fluffy and taste like clouds! We order 2 shroom burgers as they are really good!

Shack Stack (7/10): £8.95

Their shroom creation is already genius and hence when you topped with the beef patties, lettuce, tomato and shack sauce, it just elevated the whole burger. The beef patty is too dry and not juicy enough. Point to improve.

Double Shackmeister (6.5/10): £9.95

As you can see from the bottom burger in my picture, it doesn’t look like the burger shown on their electronic advertising board and it’s the most expensive burger of all. They could have done better, the beef patties are really dry and thin. The burger presentation is below my expectation.

cheese fries (6.9/10): £4.00

Crispy crinkle-cut fries topped with our special blend of cheddar and American cheese sauce. Taste-wise, the crinkle-cut fries are crispy and crunchy; and I’m in love with their special mix of cheddar and American cheese sauce. Too bad the cheese sauce wasn’t warm enough… The cheese sauce was lumpy and failed to flow properly for my reels video…

Rating: 7/10

Price: £

Worth revisit : Yes ! My ask is for them to maintain its quality even during peak hours!Their shroom burger blew me away!
