London’s first climate positive restaurant W5 Collective
W5 Collective
The team within W5 Collective has gone the extra miles to reduce their carbon footprint from its activities more than it emits through a reforestation programme in several countries. They also implemented several sustainable measures to source the ingredients from local craft breweries, growers, distilleries and artisans wherever possible. If you are looking to support a local business with the mission to operate its business in a sustainable way, then make sure W5 Collective is on your bucket list! I’m deeply connected with their mission to make a positive impact on the environment and carefully curate every bite of food.
It is a relaxed café restaurant, a suitable location for catch-up with your dates, family and pals over a coffee brunch or casual dinner. They offered a wide range of small plates, sharing dishes, coffee choices and natural wine etc. I truly enjoy my visit, thanks to the attentive staff.
✨Here’s my reviews:✨
🍳 Into The Wild (gf) (£12.00)🥚🥩 9/10
I’ve been living under the rock & have not tried a gluten free dish before. Unexpectedly, this rose up to power and became one of my favourite brunch dishes of all time!
This is made up of treacle glazed beef, potato rosti, two poached eggs, heirloom radish, jalapeño hollandaise and chlorophyl.
I’m so so impressed by the potato rosti, it tastes like hashbrown but better, jalapeno hollandaise sauce gives out a unique flavour lingering in my mouth. The glazed beef strips are chewable and neither too hard nor too dry.
🥞 Blueberry Pancakes (£9.50)🍓 7/10
Brunch will never be complete without having pancakes, do you agree?
Fluffy stack of pancakes layered with blueberry compote and topped with 3 fresh strawberries on top of the stack.
They taste good but it’s quite ‘eggy’ as in I think the egg overpower other flavours.
🍟 Waffle Fries- Truffle Oil And Parmesan 🧀(£4) 8/10
If you adore truffle very much like me, a decision to order this plate of waffle fries will never go wrong. Taste-wise, the crinkle-cut fries are crispy and crunchy even when it turns cold by the end of the meal. It’s also sprinkled with Parmesan cheese.
☕️ Cappuccino (£3.10) & Latte (£3.10) (7/10)
Decent coffee with beautiful latte art.
