NON VEG STARTERS
1ļøā£ Garlic King Prawns
š° Ā£6.50
š 8/10
Every single prawn cuisines that I try in the Indian restaurant never fail to impress me. Their king prawns come in jumbo size which is marinated in a rich blend of saffron, caraway seeds and yoghurt. It comes with small portion of salad.
As for starter. Itās mildly spice. The prawn is well-grilled and managed to retained its juiciness.
2ļøā£ Chicken Tikka
š° Ā£5.95
š 7/10
I came here specifically for their flame-grilled chicken tikka but they no longer offer that product. So I go with the starter for their normal chicken tikka – you will be served with a plate of chicken pieces (made with chicken breast) which is marinated in their special selection of spices.
Itās delicious but some part of chicken is a little bit dry. I could be biased on this as Iām not a huge fan of chicken breast.
MAINS
3ļøā£ Anarkali Lamb Chop (NEW)
š° Ā£15.95
š 7.5/10
I love trying their lamb chops whenever visiting an Indian restaurant. This is their brand new dishes which is served with sliced cumin potatoes and I requested for their Indian adraki Bhuna sauce to come separately.
Their lamb chop is skilfully cooked such that the meat does not lose its tenderness. Their sauce enhances matches perfectly with the dish.
4ļøā£ Tandoori Chicken Biryani
š° Ā£17.00
š 7/10
Iāve been longing for chicken biryani. Iām strongly connected to biryani rice as we used to get lots of this during bulan ramadhan back in my home country.
Unlike other biryani which comes with small pieces of chicken that is mixed within the rice, you will get a gigantic golden brown tandoori chicken which sat on top of their biryani rice.
Itās not too spicy but I think it does not give me a wow factor.
5ļøā£ Raan-E Jalfrazi
š° Ā£15.95
š 7.5/10
If youāre looking specifically to try a North Indian food, then this would be a right choice to go. You can choose to have either chicken, prawn, lamb, tofu, vegetarian to be cooked in this Jalfrazi way. We tried their prawns which are slow cooked and flavoured with their own spices.
Iām flabbergasted when I taste this, itās quite authentic. I personally prefer those dishes that preserve its own local taste rather than westernised to accommodate the mass. It tastes awesome!
INDIAN BREADS
6ļøā£ Garlic Naan
š° Ā£3.25
š 8.5/10
Their naan (brushed with melted garlic butter! is soft and buttery with crispy textures – they are easily pulled apart. Dip this into the curry sauce and enjoy!
