Nasi Lemak aka Malaysian national dish
Review š²š¾āØ Nasi LemakāØ
Nasi lemak is a Malay word and itās direct translation from Malay to English literally means āFat Riceā.
Nasi lemak is deemed as national dish in Malaysia and it is commonly found in most of the streets in a Malaysia. Similar to other fast-food giant, @kfc.malaysia has adapted its menu to suit the local taste and even introduced ānasi lemakā in its menu.
āØHereās my reviewāØ
1ļøā£ 1 Pc Nasi Lemak KFC Combo
š 7/10
š° MYR 14.99 (equivalent to Ā£2.60)
The meal set consisted of: 1 Original Recipe Chicken, 1 Nasi Lemak, 1 Hard Boiled Egg, 1 Sambal Anchovies, Peanuts, Cucumber and 1 Pepsi Black (Can).
The air hangs thick with the rich scent of coconut fragrance as I was served with ānasi lemak lobsterā at home. The rice is cooked in coconut milk with pandan leaves, usually served with fried anchovies, boiled or fried eggs, sambal, sliced cucumbers. Iāve got the KFC fried chicken š to transform the fish into a higher-end dish (of course, it also comes with extra 0 in your bill.)
Nasi lemak is a ubiquitous breakfast item routinely eaten by Malaysian. On my first bite, I knew I have been searching for this familiar taste for so long. Almost lost the ability to handle any spicy food as Iām studying/working overseas for so many years, I had to finish this whole plate with cold drinks to balance out the too-hot flavour.
Conclusion
