Neapolitan Pizza in London @Rudy’s
Ad Rudy’s Neapolitan Pizza
If you’re looking for large-size Naples-style Pizza (I.e. pizza made with tomatoes and mozzarella cheese), then look no further than Rudy’s Neopolitan Pizza !! I am so impressed by how light and floppy is for Rudy’s pizza. Each pizza dough is made FRESH on-site twice a day with double fermentation.
Opened its first branch in Manchester in 2015, Rudy has since amassed a huge fan base following up with its Soho opening recently!! YASSS, YOU did not hear me wrong! You can now find Neapolitan Pizza in the heart of Soho, London!! Rudy is now open for dine-in in Soho. Head over to their website to book for a seat to avoid disappointment! However, please note that they only made 50% of their tables available for booking. So, if you can’t book it, pop down to the pizzeria and you will be served with no delay!
How I First Met with Rudy
I have lots of friends studying in the University of Manchester and hence, I have been visiting Manchester during most of my semester break. All my peers have been recommending me to try Rudy but I haven’t gotten the chance to do it. “It’s really good and affordable.”
Fast-forwarding to a few years later, I’ve finally tried it NOW that they opened up their first branch here.
✨Here’s my reviews:✨
Parmigiana
£9.20
8/10
Pizza with roasted aubergine, pecorino, tomato and fior di latte. We added extra truffle cream for £0.50. A generous spread of truffles cream taste nutty and earthy, they DO NOT overpower other ingredients on the pizza. You have to try this!!
Huge fan of aubergine but I’ve not had this before as pizza toppings but they turned out to be surprisingly decent.
Porchetta
£9.50
9/10
White pizza which means tomato is not included in the base, with potatoes, onions and porchetta. This is my favourite pizza of the day and I certainly prefer white pizza over the tomato base pizza .
The caramelised onion is sweet and perfectly sautéed which goes perfectly with the Smokey mozzarella cheese. The dough is indeed soft and chewy. One bite after another, I just can’t stop myself from finishing gobbling the whole pizza in less than 15 minutes?!
Carni
£9.90
7/10
Pizza with three types of salame (which includes wild boar, salame Picante, salame finocciona). It’s finger-licking good. You can tuck in with a fork and knife or tear it up easily using your hands. It’s oddly satisfying to tear it!!
