Sushi in London – Dozo Sushi
Review Dozo Sushi
Ubereat offered 50% off with the maximum discount of £50 recently on its app, and hence, we decided to splurge once in a while and ordered sushi from Dozo Sushi with a value of up to £80++ and savoured it at home. @dozosushi has branches in both Soho and South Kensington. A heart Japanese sushi restaurant that offered a variety of Bento , sushi and sashimi for Japanese food lovers.
Here’s my review
Dragon Maki (8/10) : £18.80 (8pcs)
This is made up of prawn, avocado, tobiko, asparagus ikura, eel sauce and mayonnaise. We ordered 2 pax of this sushi. They are layered with slices of avocado and covered with large, juicy, fried prawn tempura and asparagus tempura. A good portion of veggie and shrimps when finish it in one bite! They’re crispy and its sushi rice is well-marinated with vinegar!
Volcano Maki (7/10): £17.80 (8pcs)
It’s cheesy, juicy!! this is made up of eel, leeks, bonito flakes, eel sauce, avocado and mayonnaise. Too bad their eel is too little to be visibly wrapped in the centre of the sushi. The outer part is covered with melted cheese, katsuobushi and tobiko (i.e fish eggs)! Overall, it tastes good
Summer Maki (8/10) : £14.80 (6 pcs)
Torched salmon lie on top of a bed of sushi rice. Salmon is fresh, flavourful and soft. It’s certainly worth a try as the centre is filled with snow crab and avocado. Delicious is simply an understatement. This is made up of crab meat, cucumber, avocado, seared salmon, sesame seeds and mayonnaise.
Conclusion
Rating: 8/10
