Review: London Fast Food Chain-@ CHIK’N

CHIK’N

CHIK’N is a fast food restaurant chain that serves fried chicken sandwiches, wings, shakes, nachos, salad and chicken tenders. It is established by David and Carl who has also founded the fried chicken shop – Chick n Sours. The chicken specialist is known for its healthy way of frying chicken, with its chicken brined overnight in buttermilk before being fried using rapeseed oil.

Who does not love eating hot, crispy food especially when it comes to fried chicken?! CHIK’N makes your food fresh to order and they claimed to not have any pre-made burgers in the house! This means you are most likely able to enjoy hot, crispy wings straight out from the frying machine!

As a huge fast food fan, it is really hard to find another store that beats the price and tastiness of food served by McDonald’s (McSpicy) and KFC (Hot Wing Bucket. Hence), I think this place is good but it does not worth going through miles and miles to visit this place just to try out its fried chicken sandwiches. Check out my detailed reviews below.

Reviews – @CHIK’N

I have tried soo many different versions of Korean fried chickens in London & I promise I will be compiling & ranking a list of the restaurants that serve this amazing 🤩 dish !! Last week, I visited @chikn, a fast food chain that serves an exclusive menu of chicken sandwiches, wings, wraps & fries. 🥙

I was one of the early birds and got my food after 5-10 min of wait only. I certainly love their friendly & attentive service! 🙂🥰

Here’s my reviews: 🧐

✨Korean Glaze Chicken Wings (6pc)(£5.95):

They come in three sizes (3 pc , 6pc and 12 pc) and you can choose from these sauces: sticky black pepper, hot sauce, very peri shake! To my surprise, I really love the whole crunchy & crispy exteriors! Their sweet and sour sauce could be better though, I might try their other sauces next time!!

🤩: (7/10)

Fried Chicken

✨Straight Up Chick’n: Chicken fillet, buttermilk & herb Mayo, lettuce & pickles (£5.95).

I was attracted by the fat thic crispy chicken fillets from their Instagram post but I was a bit disappointed when I got mine opened as my fillet is thinner. Overall, it tastes like McChicken (£3.29) from @mcdonalduk but u need to pay for this at a premium price (it costs £2 more)!!

🤩: (6.5/10)

Chicken Sandwich

Conclusion

🤩 Rating: 6.8/10

💷 Price: £10-£15 pp

Worth revisit👣👣: hmm depends on what you’re going after? I’m hugely addicted to Korean fried chicken and might revisit for their wings but definitely not for their chicken sandwiches! 🙏
