Review: New opening alert – First Wendy’s branch in London, should you try?

One of America’s most iconic fast-food chains – Wendy’s has finally opened its first resultant in Stratford, London today (27th Aug 2021)! Wendy’s is well-known for its square burgers (including the Barcanator) and frosty shakes!
I started queuing up at the store around 11:25 am and got my food after a 30-minute wait. When I finished my meal and exited from the store, there’s a long queue with lots of people waiting for their turn to order the food!
As a huge fast food fan, it is really hard to find another store that beats the price and tastiness of food served by McDonald’s (McSpicy), but Wendy’s sandwich is even hotter and juicier!! Check out my reviews below!

Here’s my reviews:
Barcanator (8/10): £6.29
Crispy smoked bacon stacked between double hearty beef patties with melting American cheese, topped with ketchup and Mayo. This is a pretty dense burger packed with flavours. The beef patties were juicy whilst the crispy bacon certainly elevated the whole thing and lent the burger its delightful texture. Like other fast-food sandwiches, lettuce and tomato are merely ornaments. But barcanator certainly trumps the Big Mac !!
Spicy Chicken Sandwich (7/10): £4.09
Chicken breast marinated in unique fiery spices, topped with lettuce, mayo and tomato. I’m craving for mcspicy which is no longer sold in @mcdonaldsuk! This definitely serves as a more superior alternative compared to that – juicier and hotter! I could handle its spice but I don’t think it’s well marinated for some other section. I also wish that the chicken fillet could be thicker. 
Chocolate frosty (7/10): £2.29
Don’t miss out on their signature dessert! They offer 2 flavours only – i.e chocolate and vanilla. This is somewhere between ice cream and milk shake! I eat this with a spoon and it tastes good (I still prefer the ice cream texture though)! My only suggestion would be for them to add more varieties like cookies & creams etc to their flavours!

Worth revisit 
: Yes 
! Another fast food chain for me to visit and level up the competition between kfc, McDonald’s, Burger King, shake shack….
