Quinoa Arepa Special
Arepa is made up of ground maize dough which is served as the wrap here. Fresh bunches of kale 🥬 and spinach is first heated on the grilling plate which is followed by red onions, black beans and mozarella cheese. They are then mixed with your option of beef/ chicken/ vegetables before they were cooked with homemade limena sauce – which tastes sour.
All the ingredients were then stir-fried to make sure the seasoning covered each bit before it’s fitted within arepa wrap and finally topped with plantain & avocado.
It was my first try on Peruvian food and it was safe to say that it did not disappoint me! They are delicious and certainly nutritious. It’s delectable, flavourful and delicious.
