Prettiest seafood restaurant in London ft Osteria Del Mare

Chic Seafood Restaurant in London

You guys, I just found the prettiest seafood spot in London – and it’s literally steps away from the theatres on the Strand. It’s called Osteria Del Mare, and it’s the latest opening from the Bocconcino Group (yes, the fancy Mayfair pizza & pasta people, but now they’ve gone full Amalfi Coast seafood fantasy).

The Vibe?

Gorgeous interiors – think coastal Italy but make it London chic. Natural wood, curvy furniture, golden light everywhere. There’s even a private dining room inside a vault. It’s giving “rich aunt’s summer villa.

What We Ordered (aka Everything We Could Fit on the Table):

🟠 Salad with tobiko caviar – fresh, light, with those tiny orange pearls that burst like little sea fireworks.

🐟 Tuna tartare – super fresh, topped with ponzu and red caviar, so bright and tangy.

🐙 Grilled octopus – perfectly charred and tender, with crispy cavolo nero and soft potatoes.

🦀 Spider crab – yes, actual spider crab. So sweet and delicate.

🍝 Lobster linguine – the star. Rich, buttery, packed with lobster meat, tossed in this dreamy bisque-style sauce. I didn’t want to share.

The Crowd?

Packed. Everyone dressed cute. You could tell people were pre- or post-theatre. We even spotted a few “soft launch insiders” snapping pics of the seafood counter (yes, they have a fish counter you can choose from).
