Sushi Samba – the Luxurious restaurant

Sushi Samba is a luxurious rooftop restaurant that serves Japanese sushi, Brazillian and Peruvian fusion cuisines. They have two branches in London, located in Covent Garden and Bishopsgate.

Heron Tower

I paid a visit to the sushi samba’s branch located on 38th floor of the Heron Tower and absolutely love the whole dining experience.

𝙸𝚖𝚊𝚐𝚒𝚗𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚝𝚊𝚔𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚎𝚕𝚎𝚟𝚊𝚝𝚘𝚛 𝚞𝚙 𝚝𝚘 𝟹𝟾𝚝𝚑 𝚏𝚕𝚘𝚘𝚛 𝚘𝚏 𝚘𝚗𝚎 𝚘𝚏 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚜𝚔𝚢𝚜𝚌𝚛𝚊𝚙𝚎𝚛𝚜 𝚒𝚗 𝙻𝚘𝚗𝚍𝚘𝚗, 𝙸 𝚠𝚊𝚜 𝚝𝚑𝚛𝚒𝚕𝚕𝚎𝚍 𝚝𝚘 𝚙𝚞𝚕𝚕 𝚘𝚞𝚝 𝚖𝚢 𝚙𝚑𝚘𝚗𝚎 & 𝚜𝚝𝚊𝚛𝚝𝚎𝚍 𝚛𝚎𝚌𝚘𝚛𝚍𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚜 𝚙𝚛𝚎𝚌𝚒𝚘𝚞𝚜 𝚖𝚘𝚖𝚎𝚗𝚝𝚜 𝚠𝚑𝚒𝚕𝚜𝚝 𝚎𝚗𝚓𝚘𝚢𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚞𝚗𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚊𝚕𝚕𝚎𝚕𝚎𝚍 𝚟𝚒𝚎𝚠𝚜 𝚘𝚏 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝙲𝚒𝚝𝚢. One of the highest outdoor dining in Europe @sushisamba, we walked through the open bamboo ceiling & get seated right away. The wait is over & sushi samba is open for outdoor dining!

Our Reviews

Here’s what we tried at sushi samba:

𝙈𝙐𝙎𝙃𝙍𝙊𝙊𝙈 𝙏𝙊𝘽𝘼𝙉𝙔𝘼𝙆𝙄 (£18): despite being featured as “Large plates”, the portion is quite small. The mixture of assorted mushrooms & poached egg taste good but certainly not impressive enough for me to try it again.

𝙀𝙇 𝙏𝙊𝙋𝙊 (£13): Salmon, wrapped with jalapeño, fresh melted mozzarella & topped with crispy shallots. One of the cheaper option on the menu & it’s DIVINE – a brilliant fusion of Japanese, Brazilian & Peruvian sushi. But it’s not comparable to the authentic Japanese sushi.

Worth revisit: 𝙉𝙊𝙋𝙀 𝙁𝙊𝙍 𝙈𝙀, unless I’m invited by my colleague or friends for certain occasion. The food is quite pricey & the quality is just fine. Their service is quite attentive though, and we were offered some delicious macarons for our anniversary meal!
