Gorgeous French Pastries in Johor Bahru Ft. Whoops by Soulless Patisserie
Review š²š¾āØ Whoops by Soulless PatisserieāØ
French pastries that look and taste decent are really hard to come by especially if youāre living in a small town back in a Southeast Asian country. Itās only a day more till my brotherās birthday. He flew back home all the way from the UK to spend his winter break at home. As the doorbell rang, the delivery man surprised my brother with 4 elegant and lush tarts that are packed in a pink box from Whoops by Soulless Patisserie.
āØHereās my reviewāØ

A light mousse made up of uji matcha is placed on top of a layer of soft matcha sponge cake, and wrapped within buttery tart crust. Itās my fav tart – aināt too sweet and the matcha is not too bitter either.

If youāre a dark chocolate lover, try this tart! Itās melting after my photography session as if im eating dark chocolate ice cream. Love the magic touch of sea saltš§mixed with chocolate – too much yumz in a tart indeed.

Unlike UK, berries here in Malaysia are imported from other countries and sold to the consumers at high prices. Itās usually difficult to source large, juicy and sweet berries but this pastry shop has done it pretty well. This tart is topped with blueberries, mango and strawberries. Their fruits are really fresh and sweet but Iām not impressed by the vanilla custard though..

Iām totally blown away by its stunning presentation which requires difficult technique to produce this. Itās definitely my goal to achieve this god level of baking skills this year. Overall, itās sour and creamy but not my fav!
