Roti tisu – Flatbread in a cone shape

✨The Making of Roti Tisu✨

Roti Tisu is a Malay word. By way of direct translation, roti means bread, tisu refers to the thin, soft paper.

Roti tissue is made up of a dough which is stretched thinly before it’s fried. It’s a staple food which can be found in almost all mamak restaurants. It’s a sweet flatbread (coated with butter & sugar) which is often eaten as a dessert post proper meal. In this variation, it’s drizzled with chocolate sauce and strawberry jam before finally served!

I’m a bit disappointed that this is not being shaped into a tall, thin, cone shape!!
